The Augmented Maison (“we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by SASU 102 880 119, registered at 47 rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights under the GDPR.
1. Data we collect
Newsletter subscribers
When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:
- Email address
- Subscription timestamp
- Language preference (EN or FR)
- Send history — which articles we delivered to you, whether you opened them, whether you clicked any link
Legal basis: consent (GDPR Article 6.1.a). You opt in explicitly via the subscription form and confirm via double opt-in email.
Contact form & chat agent
When you submit the contact form or interact with the conversational agent on the home page, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and message
- For the chat: the full conversation transcript
Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6.1.f) — responding to your enquiry.
Lead capture via the chat agent (briefing proposal)
When you accept the 45-minute private briefing proposal raised by the conversational agent and provide your professional email, we separately collect and store:
- Your email address
- The Maison or brand you mentioned in the conversation (if you named one)
- An excerpt of the last 6 conversation turns (truncated to 2,000 characters)
- The intent inferred by the agent (audit, pricing, index, introduction, other)
- The conversation language
This data is used solely to let Sébastien Pagès follow up within 48 working hours, as the agent indicated. No automated marketing, no addition to any prospecting list, no third-party transmission.
Legal basis: explicit consent (GDPR Article 6.1.a). The agent’s proposal and your reply constitute the consent record.
Site analytics
We use Vercel’s built-in analytics (server-side, cookie-less) to measure page views and performance. No personal data is collected.
2. Data processors
Your data is stored and processed by the following third parties, all GDPR-compliant:
- Supabase — database (subscribers, articles, chat logs). Hosted in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Vercel — site hosting. EU region.
- Resend — newsletter delivery. EU/US.
- OVH — email reception for contact@theaugmentedmaison.com. EU (Roubaix, France).
- Anthropic & OpenAI — large language models powering the chat agent. US.
We never share or sell your data to advertisers.
3. Retention
- Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe (one-click link in every email)
- Contact form messages: 12 months
- Chat conversations: 30 days
- Leads captured by the agent (email + excerpt): 24 months or until you request erasure
- Email delivery logs: 90 days
4. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct any inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Object — opt out of processing
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing

5. Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, no third-party cookies. The only cookies we set are:
- Session cookies for the chat agent (functional, cleared when you close the tab)
- Locale preference (functional, remembers EN/FR choice)
